Teaming up closely with Jose Cuervo's brand experts, we set out on a mission to revitalize their presence and reimagine their brand from the ground up. Taking charge of their digital platforms, we meticulously crafted their brand narrative, shining a spotlight on the rich history and heritage that define Jose Cuervo. Our goal was to create captivating content that spoke directly to their audience, capturing the essence of the brand.
Through our collaboration, we not only bolstered their online presence but also reshaped their brand identity at its core. Together, we sculpted a more unified and compelling story for Jose Cuervo, distinguishing them as a truly standout brand in their industry.
Youtube videos
We conceptualized and produced their YouTube discovery and in-stream videos. We worked closely with the client to understand their brand and message, and used our creative expertise to craft videos that would engage and resonate with their target audience. The end result was a series of high-quality videos that effectively communicated the brand and message while driving engagement and conversions.
Tip it Forward
Launching a creative campaign aimed at supporting bar and restaurant employees on their busiest day, Cinco de Mayo. However, instead of attempting to physically tip every bartender in America, which would have been both legally and logistically challenging, we decided to use Venmo to distribute tip money to thousands of individuals and encouraged them to "Tip It Forward." To add an element of playfulness and encourage tipping, we also developed a social media plan that included a bit of guilt-trippin and also earned loads of earned media!
The Results
With users posting that they were selected to show love by tipping generously. Plus using our paid / influencer media gave us massive reach.

Cristalino Nights
To celebrate the release of Jose Cuervo Tradicional Cristalino, a tequila that forgoes the ordinary, consumers were asked to text Cuervo to upgrade their weekend plans by launching a series of premium experiences all summer long. Winners won't know what they're getting into until selected, but each unique experience offers guaranteed VIP treatment, from first-class flights to one-on-one celebrity hangs. All documented and celebrated via reels!
The Agave Bar
We created an immersive experience to educate both industry experts and consumers about Cuervo's commitment to sustainability and preserving the agave plant, as well as showcasing the authentic culture of Mexico. The event provided live coverage and interviews with the muralist, adding an interactive element to the experience.
The Results
1.5K attendees including 20 media outlets and 75 key bartenders and distributors.
59M+ earned and owned media impressions including coverage in LA Times, Eater, The Infatuation.
A follow up event is being planned for Chicago as a result of positive impact of the LA event.
Proximo, COLLiDE and agency partners received the Adweek's 2022 Experiential Award for Best Activation in Support of Sustainability.
